Makes Me Proud...
As a photographer, one of my gigs is working for a company out of Maryland photographing sororities and fraternities.
As you might suspect, that work has dried up for the remainder of the school year. Normally between now and the end of May I would have, maybe, a dozen and a half to two dozen shoots on my calendar. But, today, my calendar is barren. Of course, this means that my company, and the parent company, aren't making any money either. So, what does the parent company, Nations Photo Lab, do? They retool their production facility to manufacture and donate $100,000 worth of face shields to health workers around the country: https://www.nationsphotolab.com/ppe I don't do any work directly for NPL, but it makes me proud to see them doing this... |
