SOLD 1933 Gibson L-00
This ole girl definitely shows some wear, but it’s probably one of the nicer one’s you’ll find! Completely crack free, with a sound much bigger than meets the eye and that old Gibson mahogany tone. It’s been in the same family for two generations, until the recent passing of it's owner. Currently it is borderline needing a neck reset, but is still plenty playable with a decent action now that I've made a new saddle and put some relief back in the neck, but not much room to go any lower. I’ve elected to temporarily put it up for sale until I pick up a ’50 J45 that we have in the shop that is several weeks out. Non original Kluson tuners, but the buttons have a nice patina that match the overall vibe of the guitar. The first three frets show a little wear, but they will get handled at time of neck reset. Comes with a SKB molded case that fits well. Before we reset the neck, I am offering it at $6450.00 CONUS net to me plus shipping. The price will increase to around $6950 once work is done and will also reflect fees on Reverb. Will try to get some better photos up tomorrow, the sun wasn't cooperating since I had to wait til lunch to get some. Guitar is located 40 mi. east of Atlanta. God bless and thanks for looking.
