Well, up till now I've been pretty good with the wait. But now that my guitar is in transit, that's a different story. My package left on Friday. I've been checking the tracking on "an post" but there are no updates since it left and says .. in transit. Now it's starting to drive me a bit crazy lol.

Can't speak to Canada Post, but in the US we generally lose all tracking once the guitar leaves Heathrow, heading across the Atlantic. Sometimes we might get an update once US Customs releases it to USPS in New York, but not always.
Good luck with the wait! It is tough to be stuck in holiday traffic.

My order left on Fri. (30 Nov) also and the tracking has not change since 30 Nov. for me either.
All my previous Emerald orders have taken about 7 days.

This is the latest tracking info I've seen for Fri. 30 Nov. 18 Emerald shipment.
In previous shipments, I've seen this tracking progress (Lifford D.S.U. CO Donegal to Portlaoise Mail Center CO Laois) all happen on the first day. Sadly, it appears this batch has already been delayed 4 days.

121, I'm pretty much seeing the same thing here as far as the tracking. Maybe the workers at that first postal outlet had a bit of a pickin' and grinnin' session with our guitars before they sent them on their way lol. Hope that's not the case.

For some perspective: it seemed like my last Emerald spent more time hanging around Ireland before it got to Heathrow, but it arrived in 9 days from the day it left Emerald. It was 6 days to my local Post Office, but it after they closed on Saturday, and the following Monday was a holiday. SO, if the timing had been different, I would have had it in my hands sooner.
Fear not; and don't let the tracking (or the jokesters here) cause you angst.
