Congratulations, I love mine, I expect you will love yours as well. A common opinion is they need playing in, like most other hardwood topped instruments. Play it long, hard and loud for the first while.

I had a 000-15m and after a year realized I like spruce topped guitar much more. It was really nice for the money though, and mine was pretty much flawless. Hope you enjoy yours!

I bought one a year ago but returned it because the fret board extension on the body had a very noticeable dive on it and a huge 14 fret bump where it met the body. I think it had perhaps had a very poorly executed neck reset. It sounded great, but it kind of scared me off. I may eventually try another one. I bought it used and was able to return it. If I ever try again, I would buy it new.

Love mine. I've had it since 2005. A recent neck reset brought back the full sweetness of tone I fell in love with. I play other guitars up and down the price range, and honestly few of them do anything special for me that the 000-15 doesn't give me. I won't say it's cured me of GAS, because I'm currently coveting a 000-28, but I've managed to get by the past 15 years or so with this one. I bet you'll love yours as well.

I had one for a while and really appreciated the simple/no frills look and great tone; only found out later that I liked a wider nut and shorter scale and moved on. Without those issues it would have been a definite keeper!

Thanks for the replies, mine came in yesterday. By far the smoothest and easiest guitar I’ve ever played. It’s extremely effortless to play. Definitely a keeper.

Congrats! Just wondering if there's a sweet scent that comes from your 000-15m. Do you smell it?

I've got a 000-15 Mahogany Top Made in USA. I believe the back and sides are Sapele.
Once I did a setup on it. It Plays really well. I like the scale. Great size for sitting in the recliner. Have it next to my chair. Been playing for the last couple weeks. Tone is a bit different then the Maple I'm used to. But nice and mellow. Have done some solo work with it. Always gotten good reviews on the tone. Now if I was just a better player.

Not sure about yours, but mine is full Mahogany.
