Default Which Acoustic Guitar Brand is Your Favorite?

My favorite acoustic guitar brand overall would be Taylor. I've had my 814ce since 2006 and it's definitely the best sounding guitar I've ever played. I also think Taylors look really nice too.

Do you have a favorite brand? I know many of you have several guitars made by different brands... But if you had to pick just one brand, which would it be?

Curious to see your choices!

Martin! I went to college down the road from Nazareth and I actually just drove past that exit off of Route 33 today.

I have a Martin that I paid $460 for new. It's an amazing guitar! Sounds so good. But I've tried many other Martins that I wasn't impressed with. I'm glad I have one that I really like! Which model do you own?

In terms of new/newish guitars it is Fairbanks. Then again it is the only guitar built after 1969 I own although my wife plays a 2016 Martin D12-28. But based on numbers though it is Gibson as we own five built between 1920 and 1961.

I get that; I'm not really exclusive on this.

But I'll put my mouth where my money went: Taylor .

I don’t have a favorite. There are many brands that I like, sometimes depending on the particular tone would combination or body size.

Same here, Paul. I will say I've always liked Martin and Taylor and I've been moving more towards the Martin side over the past few years on the dread side.

When I first started playing Taylor was my favorite as their model lineup was very logical with great explanations of everything whereas Martin's was extremely confusing, and I still don't know all of the exceptions to the exceptions with the different models, etc. But tone is what matters to me above all else, and I don't have a single El Cajon Taylor right now - Martin for the win!

I don't have a favorite brand.

Generally I like the no pick guard look with wood binding on the body and neck. Minimal bling on the fretboard. Cutaway is nice. If somebody makes it like that, I look at it

I have to say Bourgeois is my favorite and after that, it’s up in the air. There are so many great brands!
