Recover ear-worn microphone?
Our preacher uses an Audio-Technica ear-worn microphone that is a sort of a flesh colored tan. Over the years it's gotten kinda grungy, part of the ear hook has turned green, and some of the rubbery coating has worn off. It works perfectly despite its rugged appearance so I hate to think about replacing it.
I've thought of using Plastidip to recover it but they don't have a matching color and I'd prefer not to do it in black. I'd love to hear from folks that have successfully or unsuccessfully tried to recover one of these microphones. Is anyone aware of a flesh colored product that may work? |
