Another vote for Strings And Beyond.
Great customer service - they recently got strings (John Pearse Baritone Light) and picks (Jim Dunlop 'Acoustic' Variety Pack) in for me that they didn't stock - not a problem.

+1. I've ordered from them a dozen times. They currently have a 15% off special.

For acoustic, I use TUSQ XL picks. Available from Graph Tech.

Been known to flatpick with a black Jazz III, which I get from musiciansfriend.

Also sometimes use a thick felt pick I bought for my basses (and classical) which I bought from eBay.

One of my faves is V-Picks out of Nashville. Various thicknesses and they’re non-slip to boot. A personal favorite is the Traditional UL for acoustic guitar. Vinnie, the owner, is a great guy and a player as well. His picks are stocked in most of Nashville’s better guitar stores. Priced from about $4 and up, they are affordable and this means more people can afford to try them.

Thank you all. I ordered a few from Strings & Beyond and a couple from Blue Chip directly.

Yea, that’s where I’ve wound up myself too. Have fun testing out the picks, and share your findings!

I have had success with Elderly Instruments. I have been able to buy single picks, one of each type, instead of the whole bag that other sites make me buy.

After trying lots of picks (up to a few dollars per pick--none of the high-brow types) my favorite is Dunlop 207, followed by the Golden Gate pick.

Have fun!

I'm certain you'll very happy with these purchases. Two good companies.
