Tim and Mary, I'm really looking forward to seeing you and your McKnight clan of guitars at "the Memphis". Always inspiring to see your guitars. I'll be following this thread too. Tim, I love watching you work, in these photo documentaries that Mary creates. And your shop environment looks bright and spacious and well-organized...

That it is -- and if you really want to see something well-organized, you ought to check out Tim's wood room.

Eager to see this new inlay and particularly the 'surprise' on the back. A springtime pilgrimage to Greater Metropolitan Morral may be in order!

Default Guitar Strap doorprize

Hi all - I'm donating the guitar strap for the doorprize and wanted to mention what it was and why I'm donating it... I'm a very happy owner of a McKnight guitar, and will bring it to the show. Tim and Mary may or may not wish to show it at their table, but it will be at the McJam if you wish to see up close another example of the quality of guitar that Tim and Mary can build for you! The strap is just one of my "thanks" to them and to encourage you to stop by their table at the show.

My other reason to give this strap is that it is produced by one of my other AGF guitar buddies, who has started his own business building custom electric guitars. Roger builds "story guitars" - materials and themes which commemorate important places or events. So by donating one of the "Dog Tired Guitar" straps I'm supporting Roger's new business as well!

I won't post the link to Roger's website but you can Google "Dog Tired Guitars" and see the stories. Here's a pic of the strap. I have one and it's comfortable and unique!

See y'all in Memphis!

Phil

Kurt! As Bob Barker and his crew would say, " C'mon down!"
You can see The Memphis Night up close and personal.

Neil Kwak, Yes Sir. This guitar will be at the Memphis Guitar Festival. I cannot promise it will be at the annual Ohio McJam. I assume there will be a new guitar or two here. Our luthier is a busy man who has to get a few guitars ready for shipping, but quite often he gets bored with watching the finish dry so a new spec guitar sometimes magically appears.

I should have a couple of more door prizes available. YOU must be there to win!!
