These woods are amazing and the build quality is obvious. Once it's complete please don't forget to upload a sound byte.

Hi Steve,
Again without fail your work amazes. Looks like you have sold every guitar away before the Healdsburg festival. So I guess you will just be hanging around, right?

And...if all goes well, we're going to sneak in another. It is Todd Hunt's fault really. We had a left-over neck which he proposed we build a mahogany body to fit. That's nearly done, and we'll have to see if I can get a finish applied in time. If so, this will be an introduction for a new "model", one to come in at a lower price point. Will you be attending? It would be great to see you again! Steve |

Look forward to seeing you too Adam!
And of course, Adam, we will look forward to seeing you, too. And hopefully soon Steve'll mention about some sort of special parlor guitar he's been working on!
Bob

Next Entry
Here's the next one, a little P-1 that we're doing for Trevor.
Top is sinker redwood, and we inlaid some keystones of quilted Bubinga w/ ebony shadows to give a 3-D look to the rosette: And here is the back--it is that quilted Bubinga, whose off-cuts were used for the rosette, as well as the slotted head overlay: And also the neck, resting on the back, showing the head: A bit more later, but thanks for viewing. And more of the Bob (Tucker) guitar.
Sycamore back, with Cherry bindings: And the Sinker redwood top. Brazilian rosewood rosette w/ gold and white pearl inlays. Depending on the light, different ones light up and glow: Thanks for watching, Steve |

While we have used cherry bindings before, these are Brazilian bindings. Cherry does look great though.
