Hello,

Here are a bunch more pictures of getting the back set up and glued on. You can get a good view of the body shape now;

Thanks for checking in!

Yes, indeed! One of the best build photos I have seen.

Mark could have a career in photography, eh?

Awesome work, Mark. That is a stunning set of blackwood and your craftsmanship is so clean! Well done!

Kindly,

Poorly lit, out-of-focus photos snapped with a mobile phone have little in common with your images Mark, and I'm still scratching my head wondering how, in many of your shots, everything is in sharp focus, from foreground to distant background. Your work is immaculate, and the quality of your photos only serves to enhance that perception, as well as set a new benchmark for mere mortals like me!

Thanks Tom, Danny, Pete, and Jeff,

A link to one of my build threads made it over onto a French guitar forum and one of the things that came up was my photos looked "posed". I thought that was odd because I'm a one man shop, of course they are posed. You just can't take a candid picture of yourself!

Thanks for your compliments, I really do look at photography as a way to show what I'm doing and guitar shapes are just fun to photograph. Plus guitars hold still and pose so well!

Thanks Again,
Mark

Following your post sure makes it easy to put my pennies aside for my own Hatcher dream guitar.

Hello,

Here are some pictures of the top getting set up;

I have high expectations for the tone of this guitar. It already feels and sounds quite lively!

Thanks for viewing!

Hello,

Sorry I had to put this build aside for a bit to get caught up on other projects.
I took a little time and worked up a new idea for the head stock. Here is the head plate pieced together so you can get the idea. I think it ties in well with the little bit of spalting on the rosette and we'll put a little touch of spalting on the end graft to stick with a theme;

Thanks for viewing!

Mark, I haven't got through the whole thread, but, all that I can say is, Well executed! I like watching your builds and your camera work. I really do need to get another camera. If you don't mind me asking, what are you using for a camera?

Hi Dennis,

Thanks! I use a Canon G11 point-and-shoot camera.
