Default What kind of passive pickup do I have?

I just bought a Goodall Standard. The person I bought it from said it had a passive pickup in it, which he thought was K&K. I played it in an open mic the night I got it and it sounded great. However, it is not a K&K. I had time to look inside the guitar with a mirror today and there is nothing mounted under the bridge. So I took off the strings and pulled out the saddle. The saddle is a one piece saddle/UST combo. It looks like a tusq saddle with a brass colored UST on the bottom with a wire that goes through a hole drilled in the saddle, much like an Element or Fishman Matrix. It is passive, no battery.

Any ideas on what it is?

Sounds like a Baggs LB6. The saddle material would be Micarta. Photo at: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/acces...-pickup?pfm=sp

Yup, I think that's it. Thanks Doug. It really sounded pretty natural through the PA when I played. Kind of surprising....
