Default Is it worth fixing?

Some months ago I purchased a Takeharu G-85 classical guitar. I think the guitar had mostly been used as wall decoration as the person selling it didn't play and the saddle was missing. Well, I found the saddle in the gig bag it came with and put some new strings on it and started playing. Immediately, I noticed some really bad fret buzz when fingered at the 1st fret. I didn't bother me too much then, but now it has become a serious problem.

I have no idea how much the guitar is worth, or how much such a repair would be. I could try to fix it myself (paper in the nut slot perhaps) or buy a new guitar. I would appreciate any and all suggestions. Thanks.
