Default MLB Playoffs 2019

Baseball playoffs are here! First wildcard game is today. What team(s) are you rooting for to win and to lose?

Default Hmmmmmm.....

Brewers right fielder pulled an infamous whoops!

Tonight I'll be behind the A's as they send in a rehabbed shoulder to take on Morton and a very good Rays squad.

My Redsox have been out of contention since opening day. My favorite team is now anyone who plays against the Yankees.

Go Cardinals!

It seems like I'm always the only Cardinal fan here.

They can win a hundred or lose a hundred... I'm still a Card fan.

That must mean you are a St. Louis born homey...

I'd like to see Twins/Cards, I think we'll be getting Stros/Nats.

Yea, what a disappointing season. Going for any team that plays the Yankees.

The Pirates typically quit in July so I’m out. I see a lot of Pittsburgh trades remain in contention and even setting records. The news in Pittsburgh appears to be that they are finally draining the swamp and laying off their entire management. Hopefully the next management team can rebuild but IMO there need to be Big Changes in the front office who seem to be satisfied with mediocrity. Fans are starting to vote with their wallets though.

Cards win game 1. I don't have a stake with either the Cards or the Braves but I'll root for the Cards this series to keep you company, Kerbie.

Hey, thanks Dru! I need the help. That's what I get for rooting for a small-market team.

Too bad we couldn't take game 2 with Flaherty on the mound, but it's hard to win two in a row on the road in the playoffs. I'll take a split anytime.

Yankees have hammered the Twins through 2 games. Yankees / Astros would be a great series. If they meet, hopefully the Astros pitching can hold off the Yankees

Got a pitchers' duel going on in St. Louis today. Wainwright is throwing a gem. He has shutout the Braves through 6... struck out 8 and allowed 3 hits. Not bad for a 38-year old.

Atlanta's Soroka is doing pretty well too... retired 15 in a row and allowed only one hit. But the Cards lead 1-0. This game could be over in a hurry!

What a heart breaker. 1-0 in the top of the ninth with 2 outs and the Cards gave it up. I didn't see the game just the scoreboard. Were you watching it Kerbie?
