Default Clear pick guard installation

What type of glue do you use for a clear pick guard on a tru-oil finish?

Hi Brad,

The only clear pick guard I have used is the kind with the adhesive already on it available from LMII. Not sure how well it would stick to Tru oil.

Some stuff like Mylar, has a static attraction, so no glue used.

3M makes 99% optically clear double-sided adhesive sheet that's 3 mils thick. You peel one side, stick it to the rear of the pick guard, and then use a sharp knife to trim the sheet around the edge of the pick guard.

Peel the other side, and stick it down where you want it.
