All’s Well that Ends Well
It has now been three weeks since I retrieved my bargained priced Gretsch 5622 from my luthier and brought it out of quarantine. I took over an unplayable guitar to my luthier, who is factory certified warranty repair center for Gretsch, and asked if he could make this guitar playable or I was going to destroy it.
He said he could and he did. He fixed whatever was wrong and then set it up to suit me perfectly. It came back a nice comfortably playable guitar with clear clean tone and a level and polished fret board. No more sore finger tips. Everything has turned out ok. |

Excellent! In addition to the setup, did you ask him to do anything else? Do you know if a fret leveling was required? Any electronics changed?

Glad everything turned out well - they really are wonderful guitars, pro-quality tone/QC at a step-up price...
Now you need one of these before the price goes up: [/QUOTE] https://www.musiciansfriend.com/ampl...itar-combo-amp
