Recording with iphone 4s
Ok - so just got the new iphone - it's great - any suggestions on the best app for just recording guitar and voice? Might be a thread elsewhere on this, but wasn't having much luck finding anything here......
Any help is greatly appreciated! jim

I learned your interface is more important than your app. The Apogee JAM is where I ended after trying less expensive products that use the headphone jack or simple mics that use the dock port.
The JAM is not a MIC but works well, has gain adjustment, even made in USA.

The $150, Made-in-USA, GuitarJack has instrument, line and mic inputs (no phantom power supply) and a headphone output. https://www.taylorguitars.com/taylor...d=1011&page=1# http://www.sonomawireworks.com/guitarjack/ The $200 Apogee MiC plugs directly into an iPhone or iPad. Available from Apple Store, Musician's Friend, B&H Photo, etc. http://www.apogeedigital.com/products/mic.php |

If you are asking about an iPhone interface, I am aware of only this one:
