Wow !!! 3rd Hand Capo
I've spent most of the afternoon messing around with a pair of Third Hand capos, as recommended by Professor Mapletrees. Wow !! What a bunch of interesting and neat things you can do with them !!!
If you haven't checked them out, they are a totally adjustable capo, that has individual string pieces that can be selectively rotated to capo or leave a string open. They adjust for differing neck widths, but have the old standard elastic strap attachment. Mixing one or two with standard and alternate tunings is quite a departure. One thing I tried was a capo at the second fret on 4th and 5th strings. A second capo was at the 4th fret with only the 4th string capo'ed. This gave me from low to high, E-B-E-B-B-E. Interesting droning capabilities. Enough from me for now, Professor Mapletress, THANKS !!!! for the reference !!!! Check it out = Third Hand Capo |
