My 2013 - 16” Comins Classic Archtop is a NFS guitar. Bill carved the top for me out of Carpathian Spruce from Romania and the back from fiddleback Bigleaf Maple from the Northwest. It has a 25” scale and a 1-3/4” nut width. Bill installed a dual pickup system using a Kent Armstrong 12 pole piece humbucker together with a Barbera Soloist transducer to add the ability to capture some of the acoustic sound together with the magnetic jazz tone.
