Default Taylor 455ce - ES?

i just bought a used 2007 Taylor 455ce - and since i've never owned an acoustic with electronics, i don't know whether this has a fishman or ES? Whatever it is, it sounds amazing going through a Neve 1073 into Pro Tools. I'm also wondering why taylor discontinued the 455ce - and apparently replaced it with the 456ce, which appears to be identical. thanks.

Your guitar has the magnetic-based, Expression System Version 1.2. It has a 9-volt battery and three pickups: an under-fingerboard humbucker and two top sensors. This system was later replaced by the Expression System 1.3 that did away with one of the top sensors due to phasing issues. In late 2013, Taylor intriduced the new Expression System 2 that has a behind-the-saddle, piezo-based, three-element pickup.

The x55 12-strings Jumbo shape was discontinued around late 2011/early 2012. It was thought that a Grand Symphony based x56 shape offered preferable tone than the Jumbo x55 shape. Having had two Taylor 355ce 12-strings and now a Taylor 356ce, I feel the x55 shape had a fuller tone. Taylor has now started offering 12-strings in its newer x58 Grand Orchestra shape which I feel will rival and likely perhaps surpass the tone of the discontinued x55 models.
