I like mcduffnw's spec for a j185

I also think production J45 / J50 models with a 1 13/16 nut would attract a lot of interest.

No pickguard and with gold sparkle binding and rosette. As a nice addition, try amber tuning buttons!
Looburst, I have seen your pics here and so know your liking for the smaller body Gibsons and similar.

This L-2 is a dream!

Yes Andy, this one is not mine but I would love to see Gibson do an original spec of this 1931 gold sparkle version of the Argentine Grey guitar. Bourgeois built one for the Winter NAMM show back in January and Dana nailed the whole thing but I would love for Gibson to take shot at a couple. I think they would sell very quickly!

I'd like to see:

1) Hummingbird True Vintage reissue, no pickup, vintage round neck, vintage cherry burst or natural top

2) Gibson J100 Maple

J-200 12 Fret.

Gibson actually did make a few of these several years ago.

Default 1st Year re-issue of the Country Western

My vote is a re-issue/re-production of the Country Western model. No pickup, bone nut & saddle, sitka top, aged-toned yellow/orange top, aged binding, aged inlay and tuners. Fat 50's neck. -Based on whatever the first year of the CW production was, slope shouldered.

-Crossing my fingers!

After seeing this 2010 Gibson Hummingbird True Vintage with a natural top, I vote for this! I've never seen one of these before, and think they're gorgeous. I suppose a logical variation on this would be a natural topped Hummingbird Vintage with the baked top.
