D-28 Re-imagined - SOLD
This is a 2018 Re-imagined D-28 that I traded for and it isn't ticking my boxes. Nothing wrong I just am not bonding like I expected I would (have tried rosewood several times and haven't found one yet to keep - maybe I'm a mahogany guy). Anyway, it is in near perfect condition; I've photo'd the couple small marks I can find (and they were tough to photograph). Beautiful set of rosewood on the b&s and the sitka top has some nice cross-silking. Still smells like new.
When I received it, I found the bridge to have a small crack running through the bridge pin holes. Needless to say I was not happy as this was not disclosed by the other party. However, instead of re-shipping our trades, we reached an agreeable financial arrangement. This has been repaired (by me) properly and is nearly invisible. The guitar has been strung at full tension for over a month after the repair and it hasn't opened up again. I don't expect it ever will. While I had the saddle and strings off, I sanded the saddle a bit to lower the action. It plays very easy but still plenty of room to go even lower if wanted. Other than the above, the guitar is in excellent shape and play and sounds great. If you're looking for one of the newer D-28's here is your chance to get one for a good price. I am also including a very nice padded Levy's black leather strap ($50 value), an extra set of strings, and some picks. The OHSC is also included. To allow for any trepidation with the bridge repair I am lowering the price to $1600 (was $1800 originally) including shipping to lower 48 and PayPal fees. Bumping this up again. Beautiful newer D-28 at a great price. Don't be afraid of the bridge repair. It is stable and nearly invisible.

Price lowered
Well I guess folks are shying away due to the bridge repair. I am confident it won't be a problem down the road.
But... let's drop the price to $1800 including shipping and PayPal fees. Folks this is a 2018 D-28 with K&K. Yes the bridge has been repaired and yes there are a couple small dingers. But still a lot of guitar for the $ and an iconic model at that.
