Default Building Toby Walker's custom dreadnought.

This is the guitar I'm planning on using for my sixth Homespun Instruction DVD for Happy Traum. For those who need to kill some time, I've provided some of the videos depicting the build process.

The builder is Dennis MacPherson, who takes care of all my instruments.

PART 1. wood selection, joining the book matched back & top Bending the sides

PART 2. Sound Hole Rosette, install Back Strip - Add Top Bracing

PART 3. Installing back Braces, sound hole support braces, shaping and scalloping the top braces, shaping the back braces

PART 4. Install bridge plate, Shaping the sides, Flatten the top side, install kerf lining

PART 5. Setting the initial neck angle, Cutting and installing the side supports, gluing the back & top

PART 6. Toby asked me to inlay a Pearl Magnolia Blossom in the pickguard of his new Custom Dreadnought. Here is the process. Its a little long but I think I left enough of the process in in case some wants to give it a try... ENJOY
