Default Les Pauls artifact auction

Les Pauls Estate is up for auction

The on line Catalog is just awesome

Awesome - and sad.... and yes acoustic content as well

Everything must go from EL Power tubes to Slash's Top hat
Many birthday gifts given him over the years...

Wish i could afford even the cheapest of his "development" pieces...

Hope it's not a re-post
*FAIR WARNING*
* MANY HOURS LOST EXAMINING THE LOTS*

Sad indeed

I'm thinking the auction estimates on a few of those guitars is very conservative.

That Leo Fender signed '51 Nocaster is going for more than $60,000.

I agree. Some of those prices may be entry bid numbers when it's all said and done.

WOW...thanks for sharing.

I would love to able to acquire just one simple item from that auction.

It looks as though most of the items are going for 2-5 times their estimated value......by looking at the Estate link above.

Wow, bidding for the Nocaster is already at $100,000 and it won't be auctioned off until tomorrow!

I'm thinking this guitar will easily go for over $200,000.

As a guitarist and recording engineer, I've been affected by Les doubly. I began studying his developmental ideas way back in 1979. I'd love to walk off with one of these items, even a small one.

I already have what I need from Les, a guitar named after him and a lifetime of great memories.
