Stuco,

I'm leaning very strongly to this exact guitar, you may have a buyer. A Questions:

1. I am very sensitive to smells and varnish has a potent fragrance. Is the smell of this varnish strong? Can you describe it?
2. Are there any finish wear issues?
3. Are there any intonation or string-buzz issues?
4. You have owned this instrument only a short time... why are you selling so soon?

I hadn't noticed any smell of the varnish but I just smelled it and it does have kind a unique smell although I wouldn't say it's potent. Only you can play and determine if this is an issue for you. This is a factory aged/relic guitar basically so yes, there are lots of intentional finish "flaws". It sounds like you may want to find one to try in person of this series to see what it's all about. I haven't noticed any string buzzing or intonation issues. I am selling to finance a dreadnought. This guitar is super resonant. It would make a great singer songwriter or fingerstyle guitar. Or a great travel/couch guitar.

Peace

These antique varnish guitars are fantastic. I have the slope dread version, and I love the vibe: responsive, sustain, and airy tone. Good luck with this sale!

Is the nut width 1.725" or 1-11/16"?
