Winner-Winner Chicken Dinner
Well Actually, there was no chicken dinner but there was a nice spread of food for the songwriters
 .At the brown bag Songwriters contest ....... 80+ writers narrowed down to 10 narrowed down to 3. I am honored to have placed in the top 3, and win 5 hours of studio time at Tao Studios in Asheville with Michael Tao, Multi-instrumentalist and producer. And congratulations to Kathryn O'Shea (2nd place) and Soleil Lablanc (1st Place). They were both amazing, As were all the songwriters. And thanks for the amazing crowd of folks who came to cheer us on. It was a truly an amazing listening room experience Now it’s time to put up of shut up. Got to get my online presence up and running an finish my first CD.

Definitely feels good. I had friends in the contest who I was surprised did not make the top ten. It can be so subjective. Each night was a different set of judges and each had there own bias. But still a great feeling.
