Lots of secrecy with teams not supposed to disclose why players aren't on the ice. The Bruin's Pastrnak was deemed "unfit to participate". I guess that's the new code word for covid related issues.

Texas Rangers are supposed to play in a brand new empty stadium with fake people and fake crowd noise as if we need that.

When I was a kid I remember Pee-Wee Reese and Dizzy Dean "announcing" a game. Lots of innings neither one would say a word - you just watched the game without anybody explaining what you just saw as if you didn't know what was really happening.

In the seventh inning, Dizzy would say - "ya know Pee Wee, it's time for an ice cold Falstaff and open a can right on the spot! The camera would zoom in and you would watch the bubbles foam up for about 60 seconds of precious air time.

I'm waiting for teams to offer season ticket holders the option or opportunity to purchase full scale life-size cut out photos of themselves to place in their seats. $$$$$ to help offset the losses.
