Default The Lonesome Cowboy (original slide)

An original slide composition I wrote called "The Lonesome Cowboy." Playing a Fender FR50CE resonator guitar, Fishman Loudbox Mini, Meinl Bassbox, and foot tambourine.

Nice song. Very cool and not easy to do. Plus, think of all the money you’re saving ‘cause you don’t have to pay a band.

I liked that a lot! I’m impressed by your coordination. Just add a kazoo and you’ll be a full one man band.

Thanks! The one-man band setup certainly makes touring easier. I got interested in this about a year ago after watching Shakey Graves do his thing. Another artist who I discovered recently that does this stuff well is Ben Powell, a slide blues guitarist who also plays foot percussion.

Thanks! Not the kazoo, but sometimes I throw in harmonica:

Great job Steve!

Fun to see you play that with your feet providing percussion!

Thanks! It's also a great cardio workout, especially during the quarantine. Get's your whole body moving.

Fun stuff, Steve. I enjoyed the changes in tempo and the alternating finger picking and slide.

Well done!
