Default Dream A Little Dream Of Me

Finally! Something on the Steel String!

I dusted off my wonderful Steel String - made by luthier Jakob Poljakoff here in Berlin - and this tune popped out of the guitar.
Originally written in 1931, the song was of course made famous by the Mamas & the Papas back in the 60s.

Great playing and one of the great melodic tunes. Good to see someone that truly appreciates the style and era.

Being a huge Cal Collins admirer myself he does a very nice version also

Well done.
Very inspiring playing.
I want to get my guitar, and play with you.
But you are way better, so I just have to listen for now.
Thanks for sharing.

I was not familiar with Cal Collins and checked him out. Great, classic jazz tone - very much to my liking! Thanks!

Rene, I listened to your traditional (?) piece on Youtube the other day - really nice, soulful guitar playing. I guess we live some distance apart but who knows, never say never
