Your troubles and life events sound a lot like mine. After 2 1/2 years I'm finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel and can't wait to start number 2, hopefully without so many distractions and maybe a few less mistakes. I destroyed a top and messed up 2 rosewood backs. The backs are repairable but I just didn't want to bother at the time.

Throughout the difficult times, i thought the building would be a helpful distraction/stress relief, but it just became a false escape and the worries meant loss of focus and errors... I am one of the lucky ones in that its been (so far) good outcomes, but part of the reason for struggling to finish this one is because of time it represents... maybe? Yet maybe finishing it will be cathartic and put an end to that chapter?
