Nice review, and thanks for braving the wider forum with it! One comment though - I don’t think there’s any need for the “it won’t replace my wooden lovelies” stuff. No excuses necessary. Everything else you wrote says that the X7 is a fine guitar in its own right, regardless of what it’s made of.

Congrats on your new Emerald. And I see that an Emerald mug goes beautifully with a bottle of Jameson.
