Taylor T5 Classic (2016) Sold
For sale is my Taylor T5 Classic. It's not getting used enough because I'm always grabbing my acoustics so it needs a new home. The T5 needs no introduction. It's on board electronics and three (3) pickups gives you five (5) guitar voicings in one guitar. I blinged this T5 a bit by replacing the stock Taylor tuners with Gotoh 510's and combined with the elegant simplicity of a natural satin finish, it's a handsome package. It is in MINT condition.
Specs are: Mahogany top Sapele back and sides 24-7/8" scale 1-11/16" nut width Ebony fingerboard Ebony bridge Humbucker neck pickup Dynamic body sensor middle pickup Humbucker bridge pickup Taylor gig bag included Price new would be $1,975 with Gotoh Tuners (ref Sweetwater and StewMac) Here's some pics:     Thanks for taking a look!

What a beauty!!
This reminds me of the one I took home many years ago from my local store for a two day trial, but I think it had a Cocobolo top.
It was very sweet, but like you, I found myself reaching for an acoustic more often. That said, I really liked the T5.. it was very versatile, but more an electric guitar, where I was hoping for a hybrid that would deliver both acoustic and electric tones. The one I played didn't have this exact pickup combination, so is there a setting that emulates an acoustic sound/tone more than the others? |

There is a setting that emulates an acoustic, it uses only one of the pickups (under the saddle) if I remember correctly.

I have this guitar, and I use it when I need/want an electric. Very versatile tone wise, and the price here is very fair.
