Default Original 1938/0-18

Just testing this instrumental out here to see how it sounds on others' ears.
It came about during the pandemic and I struggled to put together a recording of it then. I like to record things quickly so that I don't over think-things, try to fix them, etc. Maybe the kind of idea Gary Lucas would have shared with Jeff Buckley(?)

I might try this on my 00-18 for a little more depth and overtones as it I feel this one sounded better on my 000-18 when I had it.

Sounds great. Effective picking there. A 1952 Martin 0-18 was one of my primary instruments for many years.

Thank you!

I think placing 2 mics pointed at the 12th is picking up a lot of the hammer-ons/hammer-offs leaving it all to sound rather percussive.

Sounds good on my laptop headphones. I will try to remember to check it out on my higher end gear at home. Nice playing.

You didn’t sell it to Gryphon by any chance, did you?
