Default By the Time I Get to Phoenix, Jimmy Webb classic

A tune from one of the best songwriters of the genre. This tune is a classic from years gone by, but I still love it. Played on my Guild D40 Standard, which I also love.

Simple, simple chord structure, but I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for listening.

Very well done, Roger. This may be my favorite of the many wonderful songs you've shared over the years.

That was very well done, Roger! This is also a favorite song of mine, really the first time I remember hearing Glen Campbell play and sing so many years ago.

Nice to hear you sing and play again, Roger! I hope you and your family have a great Christmas!

I agree that this, like most Jimmy Webb songs, is a great piece of music. He has a way of telling a story that simply pulls me in and I feel like I’m right there living the tale he’s telling. Very unique talent.

I’m glad you enjoyed it, Gibson61. Thanks for listening.

Roger
