"Our secret couple's signal for "please play the guitar"".

"I'm alarmed that you think that we have that."

That is were I chuckled

If I turned up at my wife's work and imposed myself like that attention seeking knob she'd use my B string like a cheese cutter on something precious.

And rightly so.

Yeah that was totally spontaneous and unscripted.

Surely you're not suggesting somebody got paid for writing that?

Considering the "quality" of most writing on SNL these days,
somebody probably got a bonus for writing a sketch as moderately entertaining as that one!

You may have a point there.

"Guitar" and "crash" are two words I don't like to hear in the same sentence. Make it three if you add "wife." I have bad memories.

I thought it was fine. Not immortal comedy, but not bad, either.

I thought it was fun. I used to be a Leno fan and was upset when he left and Fallon took over. I didn't think Fallon was funny at all. My kids said I had pathetic old man humor and I needed to get with the times. I've been working on it since. Maybe finding the skit funny is a result.
