Default SOLD Taylor GS Rosewood/Cedar (GSRC, GS7) 2006 w ES1.2

2006 Red Cedar and Rosewood. Named GSRC subsequent models named identical models GS7. In excellent playing and sounding shape has some minor cosmetic issues typical for a 13 year old guitar that has been played some. This was my secondary guitar except for a 1 year period when my Tacoma was getting refinished. She sounds beautiful rich, balanced and articulate, can handle strumming perhaps a bit better than your average Cedar top but does break down a little with a very strong pick attack. Fingerpicking and pickless strumming she sings. Action is low and no issues with the neck. The major cosmetic issue is a small chip from the bridge which she arrived with. All other little dings and minor pic scratches are shown as best of my photography ability. I have had no issues tuning or staying in tune and actually have the chip if your good with glue. I’m getting rid of her because shoulder issues have necessitated smaller body guitars for me.

Includes case, ES 1.2 electronics, included is the Taylor Balanced XLR cable and an adapter to TRS, Taylor Truss Rod adjusting tool

$XXXX total with fees insurance and shipping CONUS. 3 day return, you pay shipping. Happy to answer questions. Located in Santa Cruz, CA

Wow! What a great piece... you don't see these often. Great price too - deal of the day, even deal of the month! GLWTS.

Thanks, first time selling here but got treated well on my initial purchase of SC 1929 Don Edwards a couple months, so I thought I'd continue the good karma forward.Hopefully someone in the market agrees with us :-).

Smile Nice one

Nice one for sure.

Also, these Taylor faux alligator cases are really cool! Nice headstock support in the one I had.

Best on this

Paul

I have owned one of these since about 2009 and mine has matured nicely. I primarily played GA Taylors and thought the GS size would throw me off but there was such little difference it had no effect. This is a nice deal for someone and the chip in the ebony is an easy repair, especially with the actual ebony chip included.

As those who know me know, I've been less inclined toward acquisition and more focused on liquidation.
But I have spoken with this seller and found him to be a person of integrity.. someone I would not hesitate to do business with.

And if one of you doesn't buy this shortly, I may do just exactly that!

As a long time former owner of a Taylor 714CE, I can attest to the rich tone Rosewood and Cedar can produce.
This guitar, being a GS body and bracing, would bring a bit more low end to the usual Taylor sound.

Let's bump this listing.

Bump up from page 2. As Woodbox pointed out, probably one of the best deals on AGF at the moment.
