Largo! (The Hooters +)
Have you heard this record? It is fantastic! Released in 1998-ish, a "Theme" album loosely based on Dvorak's "Symphony for the New World", featuring an all star cast of supporting musicians: The Chieftains, Taj Mahal, Cyndy Lauper, Joan Osborne, Levon Helm, Garth Hudson and more...
There are multiple interpretations of the Largo theme... this is Garth Hudson's! https://youtu.be/ftLGbP8C7DU (sorry - don't know why the "whole thing" doesn't show here?) I can scarcely recommend the entire record any stronger... of all the music I've heard in the past 10-15 years, this stands out with the best of it! If you can still find the album, GET IT! (You can thank me later...)
