Default For Seasoned Players And Potential Newbies, More Slide Guitar!

I first heard John Mooney back in spring 1978 when he was still a local player in the Rochester, New York region, who had studied with Son House, and opened for John Hammond at The Glass Onion. His rendition of "Down In Black Bottom" at that club was a wild but controlled tour de force that knocked me out! Here's a video of John performing one of his signature songs, "Country Boy" at a festival in New Orleans back in 2012.
