Default Sweet Melissa ~ Acoustic cover ~ Video

This is my one of my favorite songs..
I've just started to make simple videos.

Thought I'd share how I made it...
I recorded my guitar and vocals through a TC Helicon Play acoustic pedal. Which outputs XLR (Mono) direct into my iRig Pro for audio capture via my iPhone - Which also captured the video. (no post production other than basic cuts of the beginning and end point).

Well done Jake. I thought you captured the feeling of the original very nicely.

Well done, Jake, I like your take on the arrangement and the phrasing very much.

What a great tune!

P.S. For what it's worth, I prefer the sound you got here to your first video. That one wasn't bad, but is sounded more like a live gig than a recording which is the feel I got from this one.

Thanks Bob!
I am still getting my "footing" with recording and video. It's actually fun experimenting.

But you are also hearing my J-45 in this video.... Wonder if that makes a difference you are referring too. Or is it the overall production and my over all sound settings.
