PSA: Emerald X20-12 String popped up

Do a search on eBay as a great deal on a nice X20-12 just came up.

Not mine just saw it this morning. I own one and it's a really sweet 12 string. Plays much easier than the RS WS3000 I use to own.

Someone should jump on this one.

From the title, I was sure this was about some issue with a strings popping off the Emerald.

Looks like an Opus model to me, based on the finish, and the fact that it (apparently) has no pickup. A new Artisan to much the same spec would be $2320, so at $1500 it looks like a great deal. Interesting to see how high it goes.

Looks like the auction is over with the one bid. I got offered about that much for my 2013 six string X20 two years ago. I almost took it, but it was (still is) my favorite guitar. If they had made offers on other guitars I have, then I might have had a different answer.

I played a later model X20-12 and a X20-14 fan fret last year. They are awesome guitars and I am slightly bummed I missed this auction.

Someone got a pretty good deal - but not smoking hot, IMO. Especially for twelve string guitars, which don't normally hold their value well.

I got a killer deal the same way on eBay on my Artisan X30 about 7 months ago. The person had it listed at a starting bid of $1800 obo. I offered $1500 and he took it.

I know this was not a fancy X20-12 by any means but for someone who would like a carbon 12 and not pay new prices this was a good deal I'd think.
