App
Songwriters...
For the purpose of giving your songs to band memeber, or possibly as a demo for a producer, what app would you recommend? I would be doing this without a mic, and on an iPhone or iPad, with a single acoustic guitar (no pick-up). |

Well, I'm confused. It's a DEMO of what exactly and how do you propose producing it without a mic? Is it ONLY guitar, or will there be a vocal too? On an iOS device…then Garage Band is an obvious choice for solely audio. |

As far as export , I have never tried but I'm guessing you might be able to use an adaptor to come out of the iPhone/Pad to USB and load the song on a USB flash drive. BUT understand that the internal mic on an iPhone/Pad will work, but will be very very limited and minimal in dynamics, tone, etc. In the case of a band member it could be useful just to give them a feel for the song In the case of "a producer" if you are referring to producing a submission demo to possibly market the song ? You can certainly try and anything is possible, but the analogy would be, you are attempting to try out for a major league baseball team and walking up to the plate to hit a home run with tree branch and one hand tied behind your back and a patch over one good eye"
