Oh how appropriate, Glenn. Wednesday past was the 56th anniversary of the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show! One of my local MeetUps did a tribute night. I wish you were with us Willow, you would have been the headliner with this number!
As always, you knock it clear out of the park. Twelve string and harmonies are killer. But, that’s the way you roll my friend. Keep setting the bar higher.

Hi Frankie!

Well, you sure know how to put a smile on my face! Thank you for the very supportive and encouraging comments! I'm glad you thought this came out well!

And how cool about the 56th anniversary of the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show! Funny how that event had popped into my head recently, but I had no idea of that anniversary! Man, I remember that show like it was yesterday!

Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment here, Frankie! And I am glad that your meet-up events are working out for you! Good for you for starting something good!

- Glenn

Very nice! The first time I heard this was not The Beatles, but my cousin's progressive bluegrass band. It was one of the first songs I tried to learn when I started playing guitar around that time.

Thanks for bringing back the memories!

Their version starts at 17:45 if you're interested:

Hi Sevargnhoj,

Thank you for your thoughts and comments!

Interesting recording from the Second Edition using Paul McCartney's song. I can see how this would fit into the Bluegrass music scene. The chords are all pretty basic, right in there with how Bluegrass is played. It's also an easy song to sing harmony to.

Cool! I'm glad this song brought back memories!
