Carbon Fiber Tuner Buttons
Just curious.....does anyone make them? I did a quick search and couldn't find any. They would likely be strong and light, and some cool designs could probably be done. I think it might look good if a builder like Emerald made tuner buttons to match the color of the guitar.

We could make a single, one-off carbon fibre tuner button, but making six exactly the same would prove quite difficult. Thanks, Sean @ Emerald Guitars |

That'd be perfect for my one string guitar!
I think Emerald could do some amazing things with a 3D CNC mill. |

Thanks Sean. I didn't think buttons would have to be exactly the same in weave pattern, but in the same shape and color for sure. Also, strength and lightweight could be other attributes. I mentioned Emerald in particular because of the beauty of your finishes...the exposed weave, vibrancy of colors in certain lighting. I can imagine that the look of tuner buttons matching the overall body color might look cool. Maybe it'd be more trouble than it's worth.
