Default New Amber X20 Opus!

Just received my X20 after a few months of waiting. Alistair was very helpful the whole time, from me initially thinking I wanted an X7 and switching and some miscommunication at the Emerald Factory that led to me still getting the X7 (still wrapped up, waiting to be shipped off to whatever lucky person decides to order that exact model).
Received it today, and as mentioned countless times, fit and finish is perfect, I actually really enjoy the "ice" finish on the back and sides, love the sound hole position, so loud and balanced, right to the player. I love my Rainsong Concert Jumbo and believe it or not, the bass on the X20 does come close to the same amount of bass in a much smaller body, and I have an Anthem system in the Rainsong and have some issue reigning in the bass so we will see how the B band works. I'll be using it to lead at Church this week so we will put the B Band through its paces. . I'll take some pics later
Andy

Andy, rule #867.2 clearly states that all new guitar announcements need to be accompanied by photos.

Pics...hopefully that URL works. Love the amber, it can look yellow on some pictures, but definitely nice and dark on this one

Andy;

Good on you! You have a beautiful, comfortable, playable, sweet sounding instrument. I had the same guitar in Ruby with nylon string. It was a big big for my taste, but it was a good fore-taste of the X10-OSN--another beautiful, comfortable, playable, sweet sounding instrument. Ireland should declare Alistair a National Treasure.

Congratulations - the X20 is a versatile and addictive guitar. I really like the way the Ice finish looks, too.

Being new to the carbon fiber world, I am a sucker for non traditional designs. Where are these purchased in the USA? or do you order directly from Emerald?

Although they have had dealers in the past, Emerald have recently announced that they are now selling direct to the customer only. They will ship anywhere in the world at no charge. As others have said, they are a joy to work with.
