Using a capo doesn't mean you are a lesser player, but a lesser player can use a capo to their advantage.

Sounds facetious, but I'm used to being treated poorly on the Internet.

Just work on your scales.

The eternal question: Does using a capo mean you are a lesser player?

No, at least to me. I suspect some others might say, "Yes".

One page for each note in western music,,, how fitting from here it will have to go to eastern then perhaps even inter galactic,
Perhaps a Vulcan with a 21 note reference point , considers only knowing 12 as lesser musicianship

We're all "lesser" player since there's always someone more talented than each of us. A capo is simply another tool for guitar players to use in making music.

Default The eternal question: Does using a capo mean you are a lesser player?

If you ever get to see Tommy Emmanuel in concert and he plays his Beatles repertoire, you’ll notice he’s so ashamed of himself for using a capo he takes it off and throws it right in the middle of a song. I think that settles it.

Have we made it to 13 pages yet? I think we can do it.
