NBGD - Bourgeois Aged Tone Banjo Killer Vintage Deluxe D
Finally got the new to me Bourgeois! It’s a 2019 Aged Tone Banjo Killer Vintage dread! Yes, with the torrefied Adirondack top and torrefied Adirondack Banjo Killer bracing, it’s LOUD!! Like every Booger(my kids nickname for them) I’ve ever played, it’s super balanced but still has LOTS of bass, mids and highs. It also has that Clarity that these guitars are known for. Its got a shallow V neck that feels good too. It’s different from my Slope D in tone and feel, but it should be. Time to start playing this one in and enjoying it!

Gorgeous! I've read a lot about how well reviewed this line is from Bourgeois. It is with sadness that I've never been able to try one out (none of the very few dealers in my area ever have one in stock).
I hope some day they take stock of one, as I want to hear one of these in person.

The only mod I plan to do to this one is take out the Lyric pickup and put a K&K in it. I'm not a fan of any pickup that requires a 9V inside the body of the guitar!
