SOLD Kevin Kopp OM-18 SOLD
VERY reluctantly letting go of this one. Maybe "looking for an excuse to keep" would be stating it better. My hope is that someone will buy it before I can come up with one!
2016 Kevin Kopp OM-18. Carpathian spruce top Adirondack braces All hide glue construction 50 year-old Honduran Mahogany back and sides Honduran rosewood fingerboard and bridge Neck Profile: full C, but not too chunky Ebony headstock veneer 1 3/4” nut 25.4” scale length Nickel Waverly tuners Tortoise bindings Walnut backstrip TKL Case SOLD Versatile; finger/flatpicks well, and really gives out when dug into. The string spacing is proving too much for me. It's a generous 2 11/32" at the saddle, and 1 1/2" at the nut. There are some nicks and dings and general play wear. The most obvious is pictured below. There's a line on the top, below the bridge where the finish has sunk into seam. But it is NOT a crack. That has been established by the previous owner's luthier, and then by mine. Links to videos. One is my kid, the other is me plinking away. Guess who's who and I'll take a dollar off the selling price! Anyone considering this OM... it is a fantastic guitar, as all Kopps are. I have known Steve for years, and he will always shoot you straight.
