Default Sneak Peak - Kopp Trail Boss under construction
I got a peek at the back of my Trail Boss that Kevin started. I think thats' a nice piece of flamed mahogany! Its going to matched with a baked adirondack top...

I guess Kevin builds in batches. He recent got the backs closed and sent me this pic. This batch is due towards the end of the year...he told me Nov...

I think the order was placed in February ‘21. When I inquired with Kevin that February he said he was taking deposits for the batch scheduled to be completed in Nov ‘22. He does two batches a year.

Well its a pretty standard Trail Boss. 12 fret cutaway with 25.4" scale. Figured mahogany with a baked adirondack top. Ebony fretboard & bridge. 1 3/4" nut. Waverlys. I recently bought a Hiscox case for it to live in...I shipped it to Kevin a few days ago.

Kevin does the best bursts...he suggested an amber/iced-tea burst for that wood set and I accepted his suggestion. Looking forward to seeing that mahogany under a finish.
