Default the minicorda

This is a real acoustic electric guitar that's 19inches long....
https://minicorda.com/

thought for a minute the tiny body acoustic guitar thread was about this....it's not...well this is about as tiny as I've seen to date. For 270 bucks with fishman electronics , how is this not on everyones list?

Nah - I like my guitars a little larger...

It looks ver interesting and potentially use full but the website is awfully short on information like who and where.

About the only identifier is: All rights reserved ® Minicorda 2021 - World Intellectual Property Organization.

World Intellectual Property Organization is a UN agency. I'd need a lot more info to part with my money.

Yeah...I kinda of agree.....but great concept though. I can imagine coupling this to a wireless and having it cradled on the bedside table. The World Intellectual Property Organization looks legit and looks to be mainly for intellectual property protection. These guys probably don't want China turning out millions for $69.95

Sounds pretty good in the videos.
One problem is that you probably won't be able to play it properly without a strap. So I guess the solution to that problem is to play it with a strap!
I have a Yamaha Silent Guitar, and I took off the "sides" of it to make it even easier to stash at the side of the couch to grab and play at will, but I couldn't hold on to it properly like that--I basically had to hold it up with both hands at the same time as trying to play it.

....I'd bet a piece of string would do.

If you read the copy on the web page, it sure sounds to me like it's already made in China.

I have one of the first ones they made. It appears to be 3D printed plastic over a metal structure. The pickup does sound surprisingly good but the guitar really shines as an easy to stow, always available, travel instrument.

It will fit into a suitcase or even a carry on. It will fit into a desk drawer. It is loud enough acoustically to sit for a while and enjoy making a little music, privately.

It is possible to hold the guitar without a strap but it does have buttons. With a little modification it would be easy to adapt it for use with a classical guitar strap.

Very much worth the money. Augusto at Minicorda has been very responsive via email.

Looks more like an electric guitar. In the same size and for half the price you can get an acoustic Aquila Microguitar!

Well John....I'm all ears. This instrument fills a conceptual vacancy in my needs. If anyone records...and sits at their desk...with a small midi keyboard, or maybe a newer mpe roli, and a docked ipad with the comp....the problem is getting a real guitar into that limited space at your workstation. I want one...and another when they get a steelstring designed. Or something very similar. Please give us more. Anyway to get a track ? thanks in advance/k

without any sort of body I cant imagine it being really playable.

I tried a Traveler brand (which they seem to have copied) and hated it because it flopped around.

I acquired a different model Traveler that has an attachable body-rest and its absolutely amazing.

So having something like that makes a huge difference.
