Takamine 135sc questions
Ordered a scratch and dent Taki 135SC from MF (10% sale going on with scratch and dents). Good shape, no complaints. I know these get great reviews. I'm struggling with getting anything more than a vanilla, somewhat boxy sound, plugged or unplugged. I question the strings on here, someone didn't know what they were doing in the installation, and I have no idea what brand.
Any advice as to strings and as to how to best set the (complicated) preamp? Thanks, I want to like this guitar... It seems of very high quality, Japanese made, it is beautiful. I am using this for Chet/fingerstyle by the way. I almost got a Multiac to replace one I used to have but wanted to try this first. Thanks for any thoughts. 135SC Takamine
