Default Which Martin is this guitar

This is a Michael Chapdelaine cover video of the Beatles “And I Love Her”
About 9 years old. Looks like a Martin CA dread and sounds like spruce over mahogany.

I do not know Martin models too well.

(RIP Mr. Chapdelaine)

I hope my link works

Interesting question.
the very white binding and bound neck makes me Think spec range of a D-35.
The side wood doesn’t look like rosewood to me though.
Herringbone rossette is unique.
DC-17? maybe later nineties or early 2000s based on the tuners…

Looking forward to seeing if anyone can identify it definitively…

I believe it is a DC16rgte, white binding with herringbone rosette are among the features that led me to that guess. Beautiful playing btw.

Thanks for identifying the guitar. I realize Michael Chapdelaine could play a cigar box guitar and it would sound good but I sure like the sound of this Martin in his hands.
